26 Mar 10 3/26 POLICE BRIEFS: Pharmacy robbed, owner catches suspect (Bradenton Herald)

BRADENTON — The owner of a Bradenton pharmacy was robbed Thursday morning, but he ran after the suspect and held her down until authorities arrived and arrested her, according to a Manatee County Sheriff’s Office report.

01 Dec 09 Picky, picky: Oxycontin robber turns down offer of generic version, leaves (KATU Portland)

Investigators say that the suspect, described as a white male in his early 20s, walked into the pharmacy section of an Albertson’s store in Troutdale and told a pharmacists that he wanted 80mg tablets of Oxycontin, and “not the generic.”
