16 Nov 09 Alkermes to push opioid dependence treatment for FDA approval (Mass High Tech: The Journal of New England Technology)

Alkermes Inc. plans to seek approval next year to market its Vivitrol drug to treat opioid dependence, based on the results of a clinical trial. Cambridge-based Alkermes develops Vivitrol to treat alcoholism.
